WE ARE RENTABIKE
proud to contribute to a cleaner & greener world.
We are hiring + Our History
Hiring: We require a Supervisor: rentals, tour, sales and service. Plus service staff working with the supervisor. Please email us your skills and experience.
History: RentABike first participated in Canada’s capital love affair with cycling in 1976 although the first velocipede dates back to pre-automobile 1869 on unceeded lands of Algonquin First Nation.
Operating for over 25 years from the Hotel Chateau Laurier and now in a unique adapted railway tunnel under Rideau Street on the World Heritage Rideau Canal, RentABike offers an experienced and respected cycling service for visitors and residents.
Our youth tour services are unique to Canada if not North America. On June 4th, 2018 we celebrated our 200,000th grade school student participant who has enjoyed the Capital’s extensive pathway network. Many schools have been returning for 20 years.
“This is always our most popular activity in the Nation’s Capital.”
Bruce Denmane, Hyland Heights School, Shelburne, Ontario.
