This 2-hour 100% pathway bike tour offers the best of Ottawa/Gatineau. Tour guide is attentive to participants age and ability that can impact speed and duration. Ebikes are an option if necesssary.

Cycling on both sides of the Rideau Canal and the Ottawa River, while crossing the bridges and waterfalls in between, accessing beautiful lookouts that display The Parliament of Canada and the water surrounding it. Our knowledgeable and authentic tour guide will shed light on the history and the purpose of the waterways, buildings and bridges you encounter. Since you will be a part of a small organized group, you’ll have the chance to interact and ask any questions to your friendly guide.

Cycle along rivers, lakes, parks and gardens to see Ottawa’s natural beauty.

01. RentABike

We’ll be starting the tour near the end of the Rideau Canal at RentABike’s conveniently located shop.


02. Major Hills Park

Bike through downtown’s Major’s Hill Park which follows the Rideau Canal and the Ottawa River.


03. Alexandra Bridge

Cycle over the Alexandra bridge, the 500+ metre bridge separating Ottawa and Gatineau.


04. Ottawa River ( Quèbec )

Ride on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River to make your way to Chaudiere Falls.

05. CWC Bridge

Cycle over a newly re-invented bridge which was once used for trains.


06. Chaudière Falls

Watch and learn about the Ottawa-Gatineau Chaudière Falls and its contribution to clean energy.

07. Ottawa River ( Ontario )

Ride on the Ontario side of the Ottawa River to make your way to the Rideau Canal.

08. Rideau Canal

Slowly make your way back by riding along both sides of the world-renown Rideau Canal.


09. RentABike

You’ll be finishing your tour at your starting location.
